I took in my old laptop to be told what I already suspected. There was no hard sell for a new one but recommendation on what would be suitable for my needs. I did purchase one and they carried out the full transfer of all the data etc ( charge applied). I was more than happy with their service and approach to a non computer literate individual. I would fully recommend and look forward to using them for future servicing and security upgrades.

Just bought a new laptop as our old one had got to the stage of…turn it on, put kettle on, make tea, drink tea then maybe it had opened. Excellent service, transferred all our data from the old machine (which must have been a challenge 😬). Great service would highly recommend. I have always taken my laptop into this shop for any problems I was having. I have always found them very helpful and last week I bought a new laptop. They transferred all the data from old to new and set it up for me so I came home and just turned it on and everything was there.I would always recommend this shop.

I brought my laptop at RCS last year and have been really pleased with it - it does everything I need! I have also been impressed with the laptop servicing offer - a service and annual Norton costs the same as for me to buy Norton directly, and the service should improve the longevity of my laptop. I use it everyday and so was wary as to when to book it in for a service - but no need, just drop it off and they'll get in done within 24 hours. All very easy and pain-free! Highly recommended!

I am not very knowledgeable about computers just the basics. I bought a desktop a few years ago and now just bought a laptop both from Rayleigh Computer shop. I find the staff friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to advise but didn't try to sell me more than I needed. They also do repairs etc. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I can thoroughly recommend Rayleigh Computer Shop. We have been using them for a number of years now for servicing our PC/anti virus etc. With John and Mark’s assistance they have set us up with a new PC, screen etc, transferred every from our old PC and bent over backwards to help with a few teething problems that us ‘golden oldies’ needed assistance with.

I count myself as pretty computer savvy when fixing problems with my pc, but after struggling to fix a non bootable windows, I dropped into Rayleigh Computer Shop totally off the cuff with no warning or phone call to say I was coming. I explained the problem to John, and he got onto it right away. The PC was fixed, cleaned and had a health check. He also re organised the folders and added a few programmes to monitor the temperature and health of the pc, and also some advice on how I could improve it. The pc was picked up the same day, and its flying !!!. Nothing seems too much trouble. Great friendly, and ethusiastic service. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Sorted out my problems very quickly, my computer came up with machine error. problem fixed in 2 days machine ,at the moment is still functioning well. very polite and understanding guy, felt very comfortable when talking to john putting me at ease about my computer. many thanks.

My Laptop died with years of data lost. RCS was able to remove my data from the dead hard drive and sold me a 2nd hand laptop and loaded all my data. 3 times I returned as I remembered I needed other data and at no cost John recovered the data. My wife and I bought new PC's from Rayleigh computer shop a few months ago, converting to Windows 11 at the same time. John set the OS up to make the transition easier by incorporating some older things that I wanted to keep into the new desktop. I had a problem after a few months which I think was caused by myself using some ancient software that did not intergrate well with Windows 11, I rang John and by the next day I had my PC back again fully sorted out and ready to use. As a bit of a PC geek ( as is my wife ) I was really pleased to get it back so quickly. The long warranty on the machine was a great incentive to buy from Rayleigh Computer Shop and John ran through everything about our upgrade in simple language taking regard of our stated budget, resulting in us getting exactly what we needed and without any "sales pressure" that I have experienced over the years, making the purchase stress free and easy.

Excellent professional shop, took my daughters pc in a few months ago after it was butchered by a dodgy shop in Rochford and it was restored perfectly and Mark did all he could to save game data, cost was very reasonable, we had an issue again the other day , they checked it out, found no fault, re fitted existing parts to make sure they were secure and handed it back with no charge, you can take your pc here with total confidence, I won’t be going anywhere else but here from now on 🤷‍♀️

Really nice small Business. Asked for advice regarding performance and types of laptops, which one is the best to get for my use. Got answers I needed and felt really confident what I need to get. I am sure they can make competitive prices to the online retailers too.
