Power supplies are a common problem with desktop pc systems, the components used are subject to failure which can cause different symptoms ranging from intermittent crashing, power shut downs or no power to you PC at all. These can be generally replaced with a new unit depending on the manufacturer of your system.

 

CPU FAN OR CASE FAN FAILURE from £25

Fans may need cleaning if they are blocked due to dust build up, if the fans needs replacing we can supply a new one.

If your PC is running hot we can re-paste the processor if you are getting fans errors. We can also recommend a liquid cooling system depending on the type of system you have.

 

 

MOTHERBOARD FAULTS from £45

Motherboard issues can be fixed including BIOS / CMOS chips and USB Ports. If the motherboard does need to be replaced, we can make recommendations on a range of motherboards available at various costs depending on the features and performance required.

 

NEW COMPUTER CASE OR RE-CASING from £45

We can transfer the contents of your current PC system into a much new modern case, whether it be for gaming or general use we can offer you an extensive range of cases at varied pricing.

 

REPLACEMENT DVD/CD DRIVE from £35

We can provide and fit replacement drives, this is often the most effective method rather than repairing them.

 

HARD DRIVE FAILURE, Diagnostics from £20

These are the most common failure in any desktop. Symptoms may include Windows not loading up correctly, software crashes, slow responding on usage, or at worst no hard drive detected. If hard drive failure occurs, we will automatically try to backup your data where possible or if this is not possible we will recommend a specialist data recovery company if the data is of a valuable nature.

 

 

INSURANCE LETTER from £25

If your desktop has suffered a failure due to accidental damage and is covered under your insurance policy, if your insurance company requests a report for repair we can provide you with details of the damage suffered and the costs involved in repairing your unit or at worst if the unit is beyond uneconomical repair.
